Our 120 seat theatre space is ideal for a show, press launch or networking event.
Like our larger theatre, Upstairs at the MAC features professional theatre lighting and sound systems along with a ceiling-mounted projector and screen suitable for high definition projection to give a professional feel to any event. Seating is tiered and retractable offering total flexibility.
Our dressing rooms and backstage area offer extra space for your speakers or performers.
The MAC is a creative place. From the art in our building to our highly skilled people, we hope to bring some of that creativity to your event.
All of our spaces are multipurpose, multi-functional and can be configured to suit your needs. Even our Downstairs Theatre can be totally transformed.
Your dedicated events co-ordinator will guide you through everything you need to know and our Operations team will deliver to the most exacting of standards.
With a dedicated box office, we offer a 7 day per week meet and greet and front desk service for your guests and staff. We can also sell tickets for your event.
Our highly experienced Technical team will ensure your event has ultimate standout. Professional lighting, sound and dramatic flair – not a problem.
