I wanted to thank you for all your support with our screening on the 6th April 2022. We had such positive feedback on the day of the event itself. Plus we have some beautiful images that do justice to the MAC as a venue.
We used the MAC for our IT Awards in 2019 for the first time and it went so well that it was our first choice in 2022 as soon as we could host live events again. We wanted the IT Awards to be more relaxed, rather than a formal sit-down awards ceremony, so the MAC was the perfect venue for this style of event. All of our sponsors and nominees were very pleased with the format of the IT Awards. The Events Team at the MAC did a great job, from the drinks reception to directing clients to their seats, and the delicious food served on the night.
The decision to use the MAC at the outset was its excellent location, the range of usable spaces and a selection of eateries and coffee shops in the area. While all these factors remain, the reason the Media Festival returns every year is down to the staff. The staff in the theatres and the caterers make the MAC our first choice. The MAC works with us and for us.
Include Youth would like to thank all the staff of the MAC for their help and support in organising and running our Front Stage Festival. From the first contact in late 2018 to the event In November of 2019 they staff could not have been more helpful and approachable. The venue itself was perfect for our event and the young people attending loved the layout of the rooms across all the floors and spaces within the MAC. This really is one of Belfast’s leading venues for a reason.
The RTS NI Programme Awards celebrated its 5th year at the MAC on Thursday 7th November 2019. The event is a celebration of the success and continued growth of the screen sector and is now firmly established as a key date in the diary for the creative industries here in Northern Ireland. The awards are supported by their partners BBC Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Screen, Channel 4, UTV and our headline sponsor Ka-Boom.
I’d just like to thank you again for providing a wonderful venue for our event. The quality of the sound for the actual graduation in the theatre was excellent and it was the perfect size for our group. I also heard many people praising the food! Your staff were brilliant, especially the ushers who helped with the very challenging job of seating the young people.
I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone involved in our event, from planning right through to the day itself. Everything from start to finish was excellent. The show was brilliant, and our colleagues and guests really enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks to all of the team at the MAC, we are really looking forward to doing it all again next year!
